Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

The short version (not a substitute for the full terms):

  • One subscription per workspace, billed monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months, in advance, and renewing automatically until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid term. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund.
  • You own your data and candidate data; we process candidate data for you under the DPA and never sell it.
  • You make the hiring decisions and are responsible for employment-law compliance. AI outputs are advisory only.

1. Agreement and acceptance

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between [Company legal name], a company organized under the laws of [Country] with its address at [Company address] ("we", "us", "our"), and the organization that creates a workspace or subscribes to NextVerseTech (the "Customer" or "you"). They govern your access to and use of the NextVerseTech website at https://nextversetech.com, the hiring workspace, public careers pages, application forms, AI features, and related services (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, checking the box at sign-up, starting a subscription, or using the Services, you accept these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" refers to that organization. If you do not have that authority or do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are intended for business use by employers, recruiters and their teams. They are not offered to consumers for personal, family or household purposes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum ("DPA"), AI Notice and Subprocessor list are part of these Terms. If these Terms conflict with the DPA on the processing of personal data, the DPA controls.

2. Definitions

  • Authorized User — an individual you (or another Authorized User) invite to your workspace, such as an owner, admin, recruiter, hiring manager, interviewer or viewer.
  • Workspace — a separate company account in the Services, with its own careers page, jobs, candidates, members and settings. Each subscription covers one workspace.
  • Customer Data — all data that you, your Authorized Users or your candidates submit to the Services, including Candidate Data, job postings, notes, ratings, files and settings.
  • Candidate Data — personal data about job applicants and candidates processed in your workspace, such as contact details, resumes, application answers and voluntary self-identification responses.
  • AI Features — features that use machine-learning models, such as candidate screening scores and summaries, ranking and job-description drafting.
  • Subscription Term — the billing period you selected (one, three or six months) and each renewal period.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity in your workspace, for your Authorized Users' compliance with these Terms, and for assigning appropriate roles and permissions. Keep credentials confidential, do not share accounts between individuals, and notify us promptly at [Support email] if you suspect unauthorized access.

The workspace owner controls the workspace, its subscription and its data. Admins may manage members, settings and billing. If an Authorized User leaves your organization, you are responsible for removing or suspending their access.

4. Subscriptions, billing terms and automatic renewal

Access to the Services requires a paid subscription for each workspace, unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may choose one of the following billing terms:

  • Monthly — $299 per month, billed $299 every month.
  • 3 months — $219 per month, billed $657 every 3 months.
  • 6 months — $166 per month, billed $996 every 6 months.

Automatic renewal. Each subscription renews automatically at the end of its Subscription Term for another term of the same length, at the price then in effect, until it is canceled. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method on file at the start of each Subscription Term, in advance, without further authorization. You can turn off renewal at any time by canceling as described in Section 6.

Plan changes. You can switch between billing terms from Settings → Billing. A switch to a longer term generally takes effect immediately and the unused part of your current term is credited against the new charge; a switch to a shorter term takes effect at the end of the current term. The exact amount is shown before you confirm.

Free trials and promotions. If we offer a free trial, the subscription starts and your payment method is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Promotional prices and discount codes apply only for the period and terms stated with the offer.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will notify the workspace owner at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal date.

5. Fees, taxes and payment

All fees are stated and charged in US dollars and are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for all sales, use, value-added, goods and services and similar taxes, duties and levies associated with your subscription (other than taxes on our income). Where we are required to collect tax, it will be shown at checkout or on your invoice. If you provide a valid tax ID or exemption, you are responsible for its accuracy.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers. You agree to keep a valid payment method on file and to keep billing details accurate.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we and our payment processor may retry the charge. Your workspace remains available during a grace period of seven (7) days after the payment first fails; after that, access to the workspace may be suspended until payment is made. If payment is not made after the retry period, the subscription may be canceled. Customer Data is not deleted because of a failed payment except as described in Section 16.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at [Support email] within 60 days of the charge so we can investigate.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Subscription Term: your workspace remains fully available until then, and you will not be charged again.

No refunds. Fees are payable in advance for the full Subscription Term and are non-refundable, including for partial terms, unused time, downgrades, or periods when the workspace was not used, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where these Terms expressly provide otherwise (Sections 16, 17 and 19). Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

7. Customer Data

Ownership. As between you and us, you own all Customer Data. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, process and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Services for you, to prevent abuse, and as required by law.

Roles. For Candidate Data and other personal data in your workspace, you are the controller (or "business") and we are your processor (or "service provider"), acting on your documented instructions under the DPA. We do not sell Customer Data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to train generative AI models.

Aggregated data. We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information about use of the Services (for example, feature usage and performance metrics) that does not identify you, your Authorized Users or any candidate, to operate and improve the Services.

Export. You can export Customer Data at any time during your subscription using the export tools (for example, CSV exports and resume downloads). Deletion after termination is described in Section 16.

8. Your responsibilities as an employer

The Services are tools that support your recruiting process. You alone make hiring decisions and are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your recruiting and employment practices, including:

  • Equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination laws (for example, in the United States, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state and local equivalents; and comparable laws elsewhere), including providing reasonable accommodations to applicants;
  • Federal-contractor obligations such as OFCCP self-identification, recordkeeping and affirmative-action requirements, where they apply to you;
  • Candidate privacy notices and lawful bases, such as notices at collection under the GDPR, UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), obtaining any consent you rely on, setting appropriate retention periods, and responding to candidates' requests to exercise their rights;
  • Notices and safeguards for automated tools, where required — for example, bias audits and advance notice to candidates under New York City Local Law 144, duties of deployers of high-risk AI systems under the Colorado AI Act, notice requirements under Illinois law, and obligations of deployers of high-risk AI systems under the EU AI Act — including telling candidates when AI Features are used and offering an alternative process or human review where required;
  • Pay transparency, background-check and consumer-reporting laws (for example, the Fair Credit Reporting Act), job-advertising rules, and immigration and right-to-work requirements.

Compliance features in the Services (such as consent text, CCPA notices, EEO and OFCCP voluntary self-identification surveys, retention settings, rejection dispositions and AI disclosures) are provided to help you, are configurable by you, and are not legal advice. Template texts must be reviewed by you and your counsel before use. You must not use the Services to collect or use information about protected characteristics to make or influence hiring decisions.

9. AI features

AI Features generate suggestions — such as match scores, summaries, strengths, concerns and draft job descriptions — from the information you and candidates provide. They are described in our AI Notice.

  • Advisory only. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or reflect bias in their inputs. They are not a substitute for human judgment. You must review them critically and must not use them as the sole basis for rejecting, ranking out, hiring or otherwise deciding about a candidate. A human at your organization makes every decision.
  • No solely automated decisions. You will not configure or use the Services to make decisions about candidates based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects, unless you have implemented the safeguards required by applicable law.
  • Your notices. You are responsible for any notices, consents, bias audits, impact assessments, opt-outs or alternative processes that the law requires before you use AI Features with candidates (see Section 8).
  • Providers and data. AI Features are powered by third-party model providers listed on our Subprocessor page, under terms that do not permit them to use the data we send to train their models. Voluntary EEO self-identification data is never sent to AI Features.
  • Fair use. AI Features are included in your subscription subject to reasonable usage limits that protect the service for all customers. When a limit is reached, AI Features may be temporarily unavailable; the rest of the Services continue to work. We may change or discontinue specific AI Features or models.

10. Acceptable use

You and your Authorized Users will not, and will not allow anyone to:

  • use the Services in violation of any law, or to discriminate against applicants on the basis of a protected characteristic;
  • post job listings that are fraudulent, misleading, for positions that do not exist, or that request payment or sensitive financial information from applicants;
  • collect special categories of personal data or sensitive information except as permitted by law and through features designed for that purpose;
  • upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing or obscene;
  • access the Services through automated means (scraping, crawling) except through features we provide, or interfere with or overload the Services;
  • attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Services, or bypass security or usage limits, without our prior written permission;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Services, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Services to third parties as a service bureau, or use them to build a competing product;
  • use the Services to send unsolicited marketing messages; or
  • use the Services to furnish consumer reports or make eligibility determinations regulated as consumer reporting.

11. Third-party services

The Services rely on and may link to third-party products and services (for example, sign-in with Google, payment processing by Stripe, or video embeds on your careers page). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. If you enable an integration, you authorize us to exchange the relevant data with that provider.

12. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other that is marked as confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential ("Confidential Information"). Customer Data is your Confidential Information. The receiving party will use Confidential Information only to perform under these Terms, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to its personnel, contractors and advisers who need to know it and are bound by confidentiality obligations. These obligations do not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was already known to it, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from a third party. A party may disclose Confidential Information when required by law, after giving the other party reasonable notice where legally permitted.

13. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Services, including all software, designs, templates, documentation and improvements, and all related intellectual-property rights. Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right during your subscription to access and use the Services for your internal recruiting purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You grant us a limited license to display your name, logo and branding on your careers pages and within your workspace as you configure them. We will not use your name or logo in our marketing without your prior written consent. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

14. Security, availability and support

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect Customer Data, as described in the DPA. We will notify you of a personal data breach affecting Customer Data as set out in the DPA.

We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and no service-level commitment applies unless agreed in writing. We may perform maintenance, and we may modify the Services, provided we do not materially reduce their core functionality during a paid Subscription Term. Features labeled beta or preview are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn. Support is provided by email at [Support email] during normal business hours.

15. Suspension

We may suspend access to all or part of the Services (a) if payment is overdue beyond the grace period in Section 5, (b) if you or an Authorized User materially breach Section 10, (c) to prevent harm to the Services, other customers, candidates or third parties, or (d) if required by law. Where practical, we will give notice first and limit the suspension to what is necessary. We will restore access promptly once the issue is resolved.

16. Term, termination, data export and deletion

These Terms apply from your first use of the Services until all subscriptions have ended and your workspaces are closed. Either party may terminate a subscription for material breach that is not cured within 30 days after written notice (or 10 days for non-payment), or immediately if the other party becomes insolvent or ceases business. We may also terminate for convenience with 30 days' notice, in which case we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of the current Subscription Term.

Effect of termination. When a subscription ends, access to the workspace stops (your account and data remain in place unless and until deleted as described below). You may export Customer Data during the subscription and for 30 days after it ends, upon request. After that, we will delete Customer Data from active systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. Residual copies in backups are deleted in the ordinary course of backup rotation and remain protected in the meantime. You may ask us to delete Customer Data sooner by contacting [Privacy email].

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including fees owed, Customer Data, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) survive.

17. Warranties and disclaimers

Each party represents that it has the authority to enter into these Terms. We warrant that the Services will perform materially as described in our documentation during a paid Subscription Term; if they do not, your remedy is for us to use reasonable efforts to correct the non-conformity, and if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, to terminate the affected subscription and refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the term.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services, AI outputs and compliance templates are provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free or uninterrupted, that AI outputs will be accurate or unbiased, or that use of the Services will result in any hiring outcome or ensure your compliance with any law.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising out of or related to these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Each party's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the amounts paid and payable by you for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the liability.

These limitations do not apply to your payment obligations, a party's indemnification obligations, a party's infringement or misappropriation of the other party's intellectual property, or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct where the law so provides).

19. Indemnification

By you. You will defend us and our affiliates, officers and employees against any third-party claim (including claims by candidates or regulators) arising from (a) Customer Data or job postings, (b) your recruiting and hiring decisions and practices, including alleged discrimination or failure to give required notices, (c) your use of AI Features or compliance features, or (d) your breach of Sections 8 or 10, and you will pay resulting damages, fines and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement.

By us. We will defend you against any third-party claim alleging that the Services, as provided by us, infringe that party's intellectual-property rights, and pay resulting damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This does not apply to claims arising from Customer Data, third-party services, or combinations or modifications not made by us. If the Services are or may become subject to such a claim, we may modify them, obtain a license, or terminate the affected subscription and refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the term.

The indemnified party must give prompt notice of the claim, reasonable cooperation, and sole control of the defense and settlement to the indemnifying party (no settlement may impose obligations on the indemnified party without its consent).

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve any dispute through discussions between senior representatives for at least 30 days after written notice. Any proceedings will be brought exclusively in [Courts / venue], and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or Confidential Information.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify the workspace owner by email or in the Services at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law or to address security. The updated Terms apply from the start of your next Subscription Term after the effective date (or from the effective date for free use). If you do not agree, you may cancel before the changes apply. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.

22. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms (with the documents they reference and any order form we sign with you) are the entire agreement and supersede prior understandings on their subject. Purchase-order terms do not apply.
  • Assignment. Neither party may assign these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of substantially all relevant assets, with notice.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, other than payment obligations.
  • Notices. We send notices to the workspace owner's email address. You can send notices to [Support email] and to our address above.
  • Export and sanctions. You will comply with export-control and sanctions laws and will not use the Services in embargoed countries or for sanctioned persons.
  • Independent parties; no third-party beneficiaries. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create rights for any third party, including candidates.
  • Severability and waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
